Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Sheet Peeps (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares your personal information when you visit sheetpeeps.com, purchase products through our website, or contact us directly.

We are based in New Zealand. This policy is written to comply with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR.

GDPR applies to us because we sell to customers in the European Economic Area (EEA) and United Kingdom. If you are located in the EEA or UK, the GDPR provisions in this policy apply to you in addition to the general provisions.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version.

1. Who we are

Sheet Peeps is operated by Lloyd [Surname], based in New Zealand.

Contact: [email protected]

For the purposes of EU and UK data protection law, we are the data controller of the personal information we collect through this website.

2. How purchases and payments work

Purchases on sheetpeeps.com are processed by Lemon Squeezy (a product of LemonSqueezy.com, Inc.). When you click to purchase, you are directed to a Lemon Squeezy checkout. Lemon Squeezy collects and processes your payment details and personal information as part of the transaction.

Lemon Squeezy is an independent data controller in respect of the personal information it collects directly. You should review Lemon Squeezy’s Privacy Policy to understand how they handle your data. We have a Data Processing Agreement in place with Lemon Squeezy covering the personal information they share with us.

The personal information Lemon Squeezy may share with us includes:

  • your name
  • your email address
  • your country of residence
  • details of the products you purchased

We do not receive or store your payment card details. These are handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy and their payment processors.

3. What personal information we collect

3.1 Information collected when you make a purchase

Via Lemon Squeezy, we receive the information listed in section 2 above. We use this to fulfil your order, deliver your digital products, and provide customer support.

3.2 Information you give us directly

If you contact us by email ([email protected]) or through any contact form on this website, we receive the personal information you include, such as your name, email address, and the content of your message.

3.3 Information collected automatically

When you visit sheetpeeps.com, we and our third-party service providers collect certain technical information automatically through cookies and similar technologies. This may include:

  • your IP address
  • browser type and version
  • device type
  • pages visited and time spent on those pages
  • referring website or source

See section 7 (Cookies) for more detail.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as health information, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, or religious beliefs. Please do not include this type of information in messages you send us.

4. Why we collect your information and how we use it

4.1 To fulfil your order (contract)

We use your information as necessary to perform our contract with you, including to:

  • deliver your purchased digital products
  • send you your order confirmation and download links
  • provide customer support and resolve issues

4.2 To comply with legal obligations

We may retain and process certain information to comply with tax, accounting, and other legal record-keeping requirements.

4.3 To operate and improve our business (legitimate interests)

Where it is in our legitimate interests (and not overridden by your rights), we may use your information to:

  • operate, maintain, and improve our website and products
  • understand how customers use our site through aggregate analytics
  • detect and prevent fraud or misuse

4.4 With your consent

With your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time, we may use your email address to:

  • send you updates about new products, promotions, or tips
  • ask for feedback or invite you to participate in surveys

You will not be added to any marketing list simply because you made a purchase. Marketing emails are sent only where you have clearly opted in. You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by contacting us at [email protected].

5. Digital product delivery

5.1 How delivery works

All Sheet Peeps products are digital downloads (Google Sheets templates and/or Excel files). There are no physical goods and no physical shipping.

Upon completing your purchase through Lemon Squeezy, you will:

  1. Receive an automated order confirmation email from Lemon Squeezy containing your download link(s).
  2. Be able to access and download your files immediately after payment is confirmed.

Download links are time-limited. If your link expires before you have downloaded your files, please contact us at [email protected] and we will assist you.

5.2 Supported formats

Products are available in the formats described on each product listing page (Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel .xlsx). Please check the product listing carefully before purchasing to ensure compatibility with your software.

5.3 Right of withdrawal – EU and UK customers

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and UK equivalents, consumers generally have a 14-day right to withdraw from distance contracts without giving a reason.

However, this right does not apply to digital content not supplied on a tangible medium once download or access has begun, provided the consumer gave prior express consent to immediate supply and acknowledged that the right of withdrawal would thereby be lost.

By completing your purchase and proceeding to download your files, you expressly consent to the immediate supply of digital content and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the download has begun. This is handled explicitly at the Lemon Squeezy checkout stage.

If you have a problem with a file — for example, a file is corrupted, inaccessible, or does not match what was described — please contact us at [email protected]. We will work to resolve the issue promptly, including providing a replacement file where necessary.

5.4 Refunds

Because our products are digital files that are immediately accessible upon purchase, we generally do not offer refunds once a download has been initiated.

Exceptions: We will offer a refund or replacement if:

  • the file you received is corrupted or cannot be opened
  • the file does not match the product description (e.g., wrong format delivered)
  • you experienced a technical error during checkout that resulted in a duplicate charge

If you believe you are entitled to a refund under the above exceptions, please contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of your purchase with your order number and a description of the issue.

EU/UK statutory rights: Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law. If a digital product is faulty or not as described, EU and UK consumers have the right to seek a repair, replacement, or refund under the EU Digital Content Directive (Directive 2019/770).

6. Sharing your information

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

If you are in the EEA or UK and have concerns about how we handle your information, you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. If you are in New Zealand, you may raise concerns with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

11. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information from loss, unauthorised access, disclosure, or misuse. These include using reputable third-party providers, limiting access to personal data, and maintaining secure systems and accounts.

No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a data breach that is likely to cause serious harm, we will take steps to notify affected individuals and, where required, the relevant regulator.
